Great Basin Permaculture hosts monthly meetings at Green Valley Library to share progress on group projects or personal permaculture pursuits. Often, there are plants, seeds, or harvest to share! Visit our events page for upcoming dates.
Attending a GBP event is an enjoyable way to spend an hour or more immersed in permaculture. Everyone is encouraged to attend the annual mesquite pancake breakfast in early November, our oldest and most popular tradition. This annual meal, prepared with native edible plants and locally-harvested ingredients, is served outdoors. For our 6th annual in 2016, we will be at a new location to be announced soon!
GBP has also participated in the Dia de los Muertos celebration at the Las Vegas Springs Preserve, Greetings from Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Valley Book Fest, and a variety of other cultural occasions in southern Nevada. We hope you will mark your calendar and join us.
